This training gives you a detailed understanding of the health and safety issues that block the installation of energy efficient measures in existing homes. It outlines the existing roadblocks and where they would most likely be found in a home and the best methods to detect them. Further it cites and explains the various state and federal regulations that govern the actions workers must follow when confronted by these roadblocks: asbestos/vermiculite, knob and tube wiring, mold, lead paint, radon, and SPF Fire Protection.
